Over the years, atrophy can be seen at the level of the labia majora, although we also see cases of insufficient development of the same in young patients. This loss of volume in the labia majora can be corrected by infiltrating the patient's own fat.
A liposuction would be performed in some area of the body with localized fat (for example, the cartridge belts, or the lower part of the abdomen). In the same surgical act and after processing that fat, we would infiltrate it to achieve an increase in volume of the labia majora.
If the patient does not want a surgical intervention, a lip filling with hyaluronic acid can be performed, however, the results will not be permanent.

For social or religious reasons, or after a sexual assault, a ruptured hymen can be reconstructed. The technique consists of using the hymenal caruncles (hymen remains) if they are thick enough or using more complex reconstruction techniques.
